If I had to choose just one carb base forever, I would go with potatoes. They are incredibly versatile and can be prepared in so many different ways – mashed, roasted, baked, or even fried. Potatoes also offer a good balance of fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and they can be filling while still being relatively low in calories. Additionally, they pair well with a wide variety of dishes, making them a great companion for both savory and even some sweet recipes. Their ability to absorb flavors and spices just adds to their appeal!
