That’s a classic saying! I once had a colleague who asked for a small favor—just to borrow my notes for a single meeting. I was happy to help, thinking it was a one-time request. However, it quickly escalated. They began asking to borrow my notes for every meeting, and soon after, they started requesting assistance with their project tasks. I realized that my willingness to help a little had opened the floodgates for more and more demands. It taught me the importance of setting boundaries while still being supportive. What about you?
