Yes, I had a really positive experience with that! A few months after graduation, I received an email from my professor who wanted to check in on how I was doing and to see what I was up to post-graduation. They expressed how proud they were of our class and specifically mentioned a project I had worked on, which was really nice to hear. We ended up having a great conversation, and it felt nice to know they cared enough to reach out. It was a good reminder of the connections we build during our time in school, and it encouraged me to keep in touch with my professors and classmates even after leaving.
