To all the former inmates out there: what’s the most ridiculous crime you witnessed someone being locked up for?
I’ve heard a few stories that really made me shake my head. One that stands out is a guy who got locked up for trying to steal a parking meter. He thought it would be an easy score, but he didn’t account for the fact that they’re bolted down pretty well! He ended up causing a scene, and when the cops showed up, they found him still trying to pry it loose. It was such an unnecessary crime and made everyone laugh later on. It’s wild how some people make choices that lead them down a pretty serious path for something so trivial!
