Which TV show were your parents strict about not letting you watch when you were growing up, and what was their reason?
My parents forbade me from watching “The Simpsons” when I was growing up. They thought it was disrespectful towards authority and that the humor was a bit too mature for my age. They worried it might influence my behavior and perception of family dynamics. Looking back, I can see where they were coming from, but I secretly watched it at my friend’s house anyway!
