I usually prefer reading the book first before watching the movie. I find that books often provide a deeper understanding of characters and their motivations, as well as more intricate details about the story and its themes. When I read first, I can imagine the world and characters in my own way, which makes the experience of the movie feel like a visual interpretation of my own imagination. However, there are times when I might watch the movie first if I’m curious about the adaptation or if the movie is highly recommended. Ultimately, it depends on the specific story and my mood at the time! How about you?
