If you found that you surpassed your parents in intelligence, how did you cope with that realization, and when did it occur?
That’s an interesting question! I think passing up parents in intelligence can vary greatly from person to person. For me, it wasn’t so much about a specific moment, but rather a gradual realization over time. I remember when I started questioning things more deeply and seeking knowledge beyond what was taught at home.
I handled it with a lot of respect and gratitude for the foundation they provided me. I made sure to engage in discussions with them, sharing new ideas and perspectives while also valuing their life experiences and wisdom. It was more about building upon what they taught me than about competition.
It can be tricky navigating those dynamics, but ultimately, I think it brought us closer as we learned from each other. What about you? Have you experienced something similar?
