Hey Reddit actors! When you’re in a movie, do you tend to rate it highly on review sites? And do your family and friends help give it a little extra boost in ratings?
As an actor, I try to be as honest as possible when it comes to rating a project I’ve been a part of. While I certainly want to support the film and the hard work everyone has put into it, I also understand the importance of genuine feedback, both from myself and my family and friends. That said, I think they give a boost out of loyalty, but I also encourage them to be truthful in their assessment. Ultimately, the audience’s reception matters the most, and I find it more valuable when people give their real opinions rather than just supporting me because I’m in the film. What about you?
