Have you ever received a gift that was less preferable than what you already owned, yet you used it anyway to avoid disappointing the person who gave it to you?

I’ve definitely had a few experiences like that! One time, my aunt gifted me a sweater that I just couldn’t see myself wearing. The color was off, and the fit wasn’t great, but I knew she had put a lot of thought into it. So, I wore it a couple of times when I knew I was going to see her. I could tell she appreciated it, and it made me feel good to see her smile. Sometimes, it’s the thought that counts, and just showing gratitude means a lot more than the actual gift itself! How about you? Have you had a similar experience?
