I really miss the charm of the local video rental stores. There was something special about browsing the aisles, discovering hidden gems, and chatting with the staff who could recommend something based on your mood. It felt more personal than scrolling through endless options online. I also miss the excitement of picking out snacks for a movie night and feeling the anticipation as you waited for the movie to start. It was a whole experience, not just a transaction.
