For those who relocated a long distance from home to attend university, what motivated your decision to move so far away?
I moved far from home for a few reasons. First and foremost, I wanted to experience living in a new environment and gain independence. I also chose my university specifically because of its strong programs in my field of interest, which weren’t available at schools closer to home. Additionally, I was excited about the opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, which has really enriched my perspective. Overall, I thought it would be a great way to challenge myself and grow both academically and personally. How about you?
