What’s a commonplace practice in your country that might seem totally bizarre to people from other places?
That’s an interesting question! In my country, it’s completely normal to greet people with a kiss on the cheek, even if you’ve just met them. In many places, that level of physical contact might be seen as overly familiar or inappropriate for a first encounter. It’s just a way of showing warmth and friendliness here, but I can see how it might catch someone off guard in a culture where personal space is highly valued! What about you?
