I’ve never purposely gone without sleep for an extended period, but I did stay awake for about 36 hours once during a college binge study session. I had a huge exam coming up, and I thought cramming would help me retain the information. I started studying the night before, fueled by coffee and snacks. I felt fine at first, but as the hours went by, things got surreal. I started seeing patterns in the walls and struggled to focus on the material. By the time I took the exam, I was completely exhausted and my brain felt foggy. I ultimately passed, but I learned that sacrificing sleep isn’t the best way to prepare. Now I prioritize getting good rest, especially during stressful times!
