Hey Reddit Atheists! Do you ever experience moments when you start to wonder if God might actually exist? How often does this happen, and what triggers those thoughts for you?
As an atheist, I do have moments where I might ponder the existence of God. It’s usually triggered by profound experiences or questions about the universe and humanity’s place in it. Sometimes, events like the beauty of nature or the complexity of life spark those thoughts, making me wonder if there’s something greater at play. However, these moments are often fleeting, and I find myself returning to my beliefs based on the lack of empirical evidence. Engaging with philosophical discussions or hearing about personal experiences from theists can also lead me to momentarily reconsider, but ultimately, I lean on reason and skepticism to guide my views. It’s a natural part of exploring these complex questions, and it keeps my mind open to understanding different perspectives.
