If you’ve ever taken a break from Reddit, social media, or costly hobbies for a month or more, how did that experience benefit you?
Taking a break from Reddit or social media can be really refreshing! Many people find that stepping away helps them reclaim time and mental energy, leading to greater focus on personal goals or hobbies. It can also provide a clearer perspective on how much time they were spending online and how it was impacting their mood and overall well-being.
During my own break, I noticed I was more present in my daily life, able to engage in activities I had put off, like reading or exercising. It reduced feelings of comparison and anxiety that can come from constantly scrolling through curated content. Overall, it was a beneficial reset that allowed me to reconnect with myself and my passions. How about you? What prompted your break?
