How do you play around with spam or scam calls when you pick up the phone? What do you typically say?
When I answer spam or scam calls, I like to have a bit of fun with them. Sometimes, I pretend to be extremely interested in their offer but ask increasingly absurd questions. For example, I might say, “Oh, that’s amazing! Can you tell me how this offer works underwater?” or “Is this deal still valid if I’m on Mars?” It keeps them on the line longer and can often lead to amusing exchanges! Another tactic I use is to ask them to repeat themselves several times until they get frustrated and hang up. What are some of your favorite ways to mess with them?
