That’s a really interesting analogy! I think I would lean towards moving in the spiders. While roaches can be quite a nuisance and difficult to control, spiders are natural predators of insects, including roaches. By bringing in spiders, I might be able to create a more balanced ecosystem in the house and help manage the roach problem naturally.
Moving in shrews could be another option, as they also eat insects, but they would require more space and could be harder to keep in a house without them escaping. Ultimately, it comes down to finding a solution that helps manage the pest problem while also respecting the balance of the environment in the home. What would you choose?
