It’s fascinating to see how children’s personalities evolve! For my child, I noticed their true personality starting to emerge around the age of 3. At this age, they began to show distinct traits that were just so uniquely them.
For instance, my child was very curious and loved exploring their environment, which showed their inquisitive nature. They would often ask “why” about everything, demonstrating a desire to understand the world around them. Around the same time, their sense of humor began to shine through, as they would crack jokes or laugh at funny situations, clearly enjoying the social interactions with family and friends.
As they approached 4 or 5, I started to see their preferences emerge more strongly. They would gravitate towards specific activities, whether it was art, sports, or reading, and they had clear opinions about what they liked and didn’t like. It was such a joy to watch their individuality bloom!
What about you? At what stage did you start noticing personality traits in your child?
