That’s a tough situation many parents can relate to. One example that comes to mind is when my child confided in me about being bullied at school. Instead of staying calm and providing the support they needed, I let my anger take over. I started expressing my frustration about the school and the kids involved, which probably scared my child and made them feel like they had to deal with things alone. It was a wake-up call to remember that they needed empathy and understanding first, not my anger. I learned to take a step back and really listen rather than react immediately. How do you handle situations like that?
