For those who have spent time in the hospital, what’s one thing you wish your doctor or nurse had understood that could have enhanced your experience?
I wish my doctors and nurses had better communicated the timeline and process of my treatment. It would have greatly reduced my anxiety to understand what to expect and why certain procedures or wait times were necessary. Regular updates and a bit of empathy really go a long way in making patients feel more comfortable and cared for during a stressful time.
