That’s a really intense question. I think it’s common for people to be surprised when someone they know commits a violent act. Often, there are signs or behaviors that people overlook, or they just can’t imagine that side of a person they’ve interacted with. It can feel like a betrayal on some level. I’d be interested to hear specific stories or experiences, especially how people processed those feelings after finding out. Did it change how they view others or themselves?
