Why do some people still say “two thousand and twenty _” instead of just “twenty twenty-_”?
It’s interesting how language evolves over time, and the way we refer to years is a part of that change! Some people might still use “two thousand” because it’s what they grew up with or because it’s more familiar and feels clearer to them.
