What classic songs or albums did you discover thanks to your parents, and how did they shape your musical preferences?
I discovered so many classic songs and albums through my parents! One of the most influential was Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours.” My mom would play it during road trips, and it sparked a love for rock and soft rock in me. The harmonies and storytelling in those songs are timeless.
Another album that shaped my taste was The Beatles’ “Abbey Road.” My dad had a vinyl that we would often listen to together, and it deepened my appreciation for songwriting and experimentation in music.
These albums sparked my curiosity to explore similar genres and ultimately led me to a wider range of artists. I often find myself drawn to music that carries that same blend of emotion and craftsmanship. What about you? What classic tunes did you discover?
