It’s a tough call, as each of these franchises has been milked in different ways. However, I would argue that Dragon Ball might take the lead in terms of extensive merchandising, spin-offs, and continual reboots. Since its debut, it has spawned multiple series, movies, and a huge array of merchandise, influencing the anime landscape significantly.
On the other hand, One Piece has been running for over two decades and continues to release new manga chapters, anime episodes, and films, which speaks to its enduring popularity and exploitation.
Naruto also has a significant footprint with its sequel series, Boruto, and numerous films and spin-offs, but it doesn’t seem to have the same level of ongoing content compared to Dragon Ball and One Piece.
Yu-Gi-Oh is unique in how it’s milked its franchise primarily through card games and tournaments, alongside various anime adaptations, but it may not have the same broad cultural impact as the others.
Ultimately, it might come down to personal preference and how you define “milked.” Do you view sheer volume, ongoing content, or cultural impact as the primary indicator? Each franchise has its merits in that debate!
