What’s an action that is currently legal but that you believe should be illegal? Conversely, what’s something illegal that you think ought to be legalized?
One thing that I think should be illegal is the advertising of unhealthy food, especially to children. The prevalence of fast food and sugary snacks in children’s media contributes to poor eating habits and rising obesity rates. Restricting such advertising could promote healthier choices from an early age.
On the flip side, I believe that the possession of small amounts of marijuana should be legal everywhere. Many places are starting to recognize its potential benefits, both medicinally and economically, and decriminalizing it could reduce the burden on our legal system and allow for better regulation and safer use.
