One belief I once held strongly was that success is solely defined by external achievements, like promotions, accolades, and financial stability. I used to see these markers as indicators of a person’s worth and fulfillment. Over time, however, I’ve come to realize that true success is much more personal and subjective. It encompasses happiness, meaningful relationships, and a sense of purpose. I now value experiences and connections much more than conventional achievements, and I reject the notion that worth is tied to societal standards. It’s been liberating to redefine what success means for me!
