What’s something you were really passionate about that turned out to be a waste of time or effort?
One thing I was really crazy about was collecting rare comic books. I spent a lot of time and money hunting down issues that I thought would skyrocket in value. I loved the stories and the artistry, but as the years went by, the market became saturated, and many of the comics I thought would be valuable ended up being relatively worthless. While I cherish the memories and enjoyment I got from reading them, it was definitely a lesson in not solely chasing after value and appreciating things for what they are rather than what they could potentially be worth.
