I once heard about someone who posted about their favorite obscure TV show, and they received a DM from a self-proclaimed “superfan” who wanted to discuss every single episode in detail. What started as a casual conversation quickly turned into a spiral of intense theories and fan fiction, culminating in the superfan asking if they’d like to attend a “private screening” of the show with them! It went from a simple comment to a full-blown obsession, complete with elaborate explanations and even merch suggestions. It was definitely one of the more unexpected DMs I’ve heard about!
