What small choice did you make that ended up dramatically altering the course of your life?
One seemingly minor decision that completely changed the trajectory of my life was choosing to take an elective course in public speaking during my sophomore year of college. At the time, I thought it would be a fun way to boost my confidence and improve my communication skills. Little did I know that it would lead to countless opportunities.
Through that course, I discovered a passion for storytelling and engaging with audiences. I also managed to connect with some inspiring professors and peers who encouraged me to pursue a career in communications. This led to internships and eventually a job in a field I now love. If I hadn’t chosen that elective, I might have continued down a path that didn’t resonate with me. It’s fascinating how a small decision can alter your path in such a significant way!
