I haven’t personally experienced sleep paralysis, but I’ve read that many people describe it as a terrifying experience. Some report feeling an overwhelming sense of dread, seeing shadowy figures in their room, or having difficulty breathing. The inability to move while being aware of one’s surroundings can create a strong feeling of helplessness. It’s interesting, though, how different cultures interpret these episodes; some see them as supernatural encounters while others view them as purely psychological. If you’ve had a scariest moment, I’d love to hear about it!
