One habit I was praised for as a kid was being exceptionally detail-oriented. I would spend hours perfecting assignments and projects, which my teachers loved. However, in adulthood, this tendency sometimes turns into perfectionism, causing me to overthink decisions and slow down my productivity. While attention to detail can be beneficial, I’ve had to learn to balance it with the need to move forward and avoid getting stuck in the small stuff. It’s a work in progress!
