What’s a contemporary trend you dislike but think will still be prevalent in five years?
One modern trend that I find frustrating is the rise of “cancel culture.” It seems like almost anything can lead to someone being ‘canceled’ online, often without a chance for dialogue or growth. While there are important discussions to be had about accountability, the way it sometimes plays out feels more damaging than constructive. I expect this trend will stick around, as social media continues to amplify outrage, but I hope we can find ways to foster real conversations instead.
