One random fact that really blew my mind is that octopuses have three hearts! Two of the hearts pump blood to the gills, where it gets oxygenated, while the third pumps it to the rest of the body. Interestingly, when they swim, the heart that delivers blood to their body actually stops beating, which is why they prefer crawling over swimming. It’s amazing how uniquely adapted they are to their environment!
