What’s a commonly held belief that you’ve discovered is completely untrue in your own experience?
One widely accepted ‘truth’ that I’ve found to be utterly false in my own experience is that success is primarily a result of hard work and determination. While hard work is certainly important, I’ve seen many dedicated individuals struggle despite their efforts, while others with less dedication achieve success, often due to factors like networking, access to resources, or even just luck. It highlights the complexity of success and how it can often be influenced by external factors beyond one’s control, making it clear that hard work is just one piece of a much larger puzzle.
