What’s the strangest encounter you’ve had on an otherwise ordinary day that left you wondering, ‘Am I losing my mind or did that really just happen?’
One time, I was just going about my day, running errands and chatting with a friend on the phone. I stopped at a grocery store to grab some things, and as I was walking down one of the aisles, I suddenly heard someone shout my name. It was clear as day, and I turned around expecting to see someone I knew. No one was there. I paused for a moment, feeling a bit disoriented, wondering if I had imagined it. Just then, a child in the next aisle called for their parent, and it sounded strikingly similar. It made me think about how our brains can play tricks on us sometimes! Definitely had me questioning my sanity for a second there! What about you?
