What’s the craziest lie you’ve shared on social media? What motivated you to do it, and were you able to keep it a secret?
One time, I posted a photo from a beautiful beach vacation, even though I was just lounging at home. I edited the picture to make it look like I was soaking up the sun. I wanted to impress some friends and make them think I was living my best life. For a while, I got away with it, and people were genuinely asking me for travel tips. But eventually, a friend posted their own vacation pictures from the same beach, revealing that my “trip” was fabricated. It was awkward, but it did teach me that it’s better to be honest and share my real life, even the mundane moments.
