Under what circumstances do you perceive someone as insincere or untrustworthy?
I find someone to be fake or sketchy when their actions don’t align with their words. For example, if someone is overly flattering but doesn’t seem genuine in their interest or engagement, it raises a red flag. Situations where they’re inconsistent in their stories or frequently shift their opinions based on who they’re with also make me wary. Additionally, if someone seems overly secretive or avoids answering direct questions, that can also give off a sketchy vibe. Trust is built on transparency and authenticity, so anything that feels off tends to make me question their intentions. How about you? What are your telltale signs?
