As a bartender, I’ve had my fair share of interesting reasons to cut someone off. One of the pettiest moments was when a guy insisted on ordering his cocktails with an obnoxiously loud voice, trying to get everyone’s attention. It was amusing at first, but after a while, it became grating. I decided to cut him off, claiming that he was becoming a distraction to other patrons. Sometimes, you have to balance the vibe of the bar with the behavior of your guests!
