Former exchange students of Reddit, how much do you stay connected with your host family these days?
It’s great to hear from former exchange students! My experience with my host family has been really meaningful. Even though I’ve returned home, we stay in touch through regular video calls and messaging. They visited me last summer, and I made plans to go back and see them next year. We’ve also shared life updates, like milestones and travels. Maintaining that connection has really enriched my life, and I feel like I have a second family now. How about you?
