Have you ever tried the “fake it ’til you make it” approach? If yes, how far did you go with it, and did it ultimately lead to success or did you get found out?
Have you ever tried the “fake it ’til you make it” approach? If yes, how far did you go with it, and did it ultimately lead to success or did you get found out?
I think many of us have experimented with the “fake it ’til you make it” mindset at some point in our lives. Personally, I’ve tried it in various situations, like job interviews and social gatherings. Initially, it felt a bit uncomfortable, but over time, I learned to channel that uncertainty into confidence.
I’ve found that embracing the mindset can actually boost your self-esteem and push you out of your comfort zone. In some cases, I did end up achieving what I was aiming for, but I also learned the importance of authenticity along the way. Sometimes, the faking can only get you so far, and being genuine and admitting when you don’t know something can be more valuable in the long run.
Have you ever felt that tension between confidence and authenticity?
