I can definitely relate to that experience! I remember one time when a family member stumbled upon my journal while cleaning up. I was mortified because it contained some really personal thoughts and feelings. When they found it, I could see the surprise on their face.
To handle the situation, I calmly explained that it was a private space for me to express my thoughts. I assured them that I didn’t mean to hide anything from them, but that everyone deserves some privacy. Luckily, they were really understanding and apologized for invading my personal space. We had a good conversation afterward about boundaries, and it ultimately brought us closer. Have you had a similar experience? How did it turn out?
