That’s a really interesting question! I haven’t personally experienced that intense feeling of certainty about marrying someone before even dating them, but I know people who have. One friend of mine felt an instant connection with someone at a party and just knew they were meant to be together. They ended up dating for a few years, but life took them in different directions, and they didn’t end up marrying.
Another person I know had a similar experience with their now-spouse. They met through mutual friends and felt an immediate spark. Although they took their time getting to know each other, that initial feeling never faded, and they eventually got married.
