Hey Reddit police officers, what’s the most ridiculous call you’ve ever had to respond to?
As a police officer, I’ve seen my fair share of strange calls, but one of the most memorable was when we were dispatched to a report of an “armed banana.” A concerned citizen thought they witnessed someone brandishing a weapon that turned out to be just a banana. When we arrived, the person with the “weapon” was happily munching on their snack, completely unaware of the chaos they had caused. It definitely lightened the mood of our shift!
