My experience in college was quite challenging but rewarding! The coursework required a solid understanding of psychology, biology, and human behavior. Classes like neuroanatomy and psychopharmacology were particularly intense, as they demanded both memorization and application of complex concepts.
On top of that, many classes emphasized critical thinking and applying theories to real-world situations, which I found both stimulating and demanding. However, I also had courses that were more focused on discussion and case studies, which made for an engaging learning environment.
In general, while some classes were tough, the interest in the subject matter kept me motivated. Collaborating with peers and forming study groups also made a huge difference. Overall, I’d say the difficulty level varied but prepared me well for my residency and beyond!
