Tradesmen and women, what was your funny experiences as an apprentice?

   As an apprentice, I remember one time working with a seasoned plumber who had quite the sense of humor. We were on a job site, and he handed me a roll of “plumber’s tape” and told me to “go find the end of the tape.” I spent a good 20 minutes looking for it, convinced there was a magical finishing point I had to locate. Meanwhile, he was just laughing at my confusion. It was a classic prank, and I learned quickly to always check whether my co-workers were pulling my leg. It definitely made the long days much more entertaining! What about you? Any memorable stories?
