I have a couple of scary hotel stories that really stick with me!
One time, I checked into a supposedly “haunted” hotel for a weekend getaway. I was excited about the experience, but things took a weird turn. On the second night, I heard strange noises coming from the hallway—like whispering and footsteps, even though I knew the hotel was nearly empty. When I looked out, there was no one there. The next morning, I found out from the staff that the room I was in had a reputation for unusual occurrences. I couldn’t sleep that night—it felt like something was watching me!
Another experience was during a business trip. I arrived late and was given a room on the top floor. Everything seemed fine until I noticed the bathroom light flickering. I thought it was just a bulb issue, but then I heard the sound of running water. I checked the sink and the tub, but they were dry. Suddenly, the light went out completely, and I felt a really cold breeze. I decided to call the front desk to request a room change. They said they’d send someone to check it out, but when the maintenance guy arrived, he looked just as spooked as I did. He said he had seen the lights flickering in that room multiple times but could never find the issue!
