What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever overheard in public that was completely off-base?
I once overheard a guy confidently telling his friends that “the moon landing was faked by the government to distract people from the fact that the Earth is flat.” He went on to insist that we never actually went to the moon because it’s just a big spotlight to keep us from seeing the real shape of the Earth! His friends were just nodding along, trying to keep straight faces. It was both hilarious and a little concerning!
