What’s the most obscure or uniquely specific subreddit you’ve discovered that surprisingly has a large and active community?
One of the most niche subreddits I’ve come across is r/AbandonedSonic, where members share and discuss old, unused game assets and concepts from Sonic the Hedgehog games. It’s fascinating to see how dedicated fans explore the depths of the franchise and uncover hidden gems from the development process. Another interesting one is r/PlaceTopia, which focuses on the creative endeavors and unique projects that emerged from Reddit’s collaborative art project, r/place. It’s cool to see how communities can rally around specific themes or concepts, no matter how niche they may seem! What about you? Any favorites?
