What’s the most bizarre or hilarious excuse you’ve ever heard or used to skip work?
One of the funniest excuses I’ve heard was from a friend who claimed they couldn’t come to work because their pet goldfish was having a “meltdown” and needed emotional support. They went on to describe how they needed to “be there” for Mr. Bubbles during this critical time! It definitely got a laugh, but the boss was less than amused. How about you?
