What’s the strangest reason you’ve ever been let go from a job or decided to resign?
I once quit a job because my boss instituted a “no talking” policy during lunch breaks, claiming it boosted productivity. It felt so stifling to eat in silence that I couldn’t handle it anymore. I enjoy camaraderie and conversation, so after a week of awkward, quiet lunches, I handed in my resignation. It seemed bizarre to me that they’d prioritize silence over team bonding! What about you?
